Frazer Clarke Boxer opening Fireflux HQ

Frazer visited PPE and workwear supplier, Fireflux, for the official opening of its new retail store, showroom and warehouse in Burton, following significant growth and expansion.

He is a good friend of the business and cut the ribbon to officially open the new premises on Wellington Street. The store will be open to customers Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Frazer, who has been selected to represent Team GB at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, said “I have been a supporter of the business from the very beginning. Fireflux has supplied and sponsored my custom-design tracksuits and other merchandise for my training camps and fights and I’m pleased to support them at their grand opening today. Big up and wishing them every success for the future.”

Fireflux is a privately-owned specialist supplier of personal protective equipment (PPE) and professional workwear supplying customers nationwide with a wide range of products including high visibility and hard-wearing site wear, office wear and leisurewear.

Having outgrown its small Swadlincote unit, the letting of the new 4,000 sq ft Burton unit and shop and showroom is an exciting move for Founder Jack Miller and his team.

Fireflux has ambitious targets for growth and is planning a further 20 jobs to be created within the next 12 months.

The new Burton outlet is Fireflux’s first store and customers will be able to browse its range of PPE and workwear or garments and products for social events or general merchandise. Through its in-house printing and embroidery service, all items can be printed or embroidered with any company logo or personalisation.

Jack said: “It’s really important to us that our customers can see the range of products on offer and make informed choices with the help of our professional advice and expertise. Our new shop will allow customers to see, touch and try on garments and check their suitability and durability before committing to purchase.”

The increased warehouse space means Fireflux can hold significantly more stock to provide added capability and be able to fulfil the tight turnaround times that it prides itself on.

Jack commented: “We quickly outgrew our unit in Swadlincote and we’re excited by the next step of our journey and our move to Burton.”

Fireflux was born in 2017 when Jack saw a gap in the market for his specialised knowledge and experience to advise, collate and supply quality British-manufactured products to the construction sector. Jack initially began selling glasses, gloves and safety helmets from his van which went from strength to strength and led him to open a small unit in Swadlincote.

Today, Fireflux supplies a wide range of business sectors in addition to that of construction.

Through their network of industry-leading suppliers, Fireflux works with some of the most well-known manufacturers in the industry giving them access to thousands of quality products.

Jack said: “Our top priority will always be the safety of our customer’s workforce and that we will never compromise on. We’re proud to tailor what we do to meet the needs of our customers who often come to us for help in finding the right products for the job in hand.”

“First impressions – especially in business – always count. So, no matter what sector our customers work in and whether they’ve been in business for years or are a start-up venture, we’ll always make sure that our products look the part too – because your uniform sells you and your business.” Jack added.
